Me too, I wish to photograph Cardinals too, I live in WA state where is the closest I can find one of these? Phoenix? I work with an Airline so I get really good discount travelling around.

These are northern cardinals. THe bird book dont show them close to you.

I'm surprised, Jeff! When I lived in Aurora we had tons! Beauty shots there John, especially loving the shot of the loving couple ......nice to get both of their eyes on the same focal plane.
