Why is there a rule against commenting on prices? Doesn't this mean that an unethical seller could take advantage of a newbie buyer who didn't know a fair asking price. It seems like we would have an interest in preventing this from happening.

Pekka El General Moderator More info | Feb 16, 2006 20:32 | #2 Often commenting happens at reasonable pricing, too, when someone "wonders" that "hey, you can get that from El-Cheapo-Con Camera" for few dollars less - that just is not helpful. Asking price is what seller wants - if that is accepted by the buyer then all is well. The Forum Boss, El General Moderator
