Hello,
Does anyone use this software as a stand alone? The editor I use is PSP X6 and it is not compatible with the Nik products. When I wrote Nik they indicated it was possible to use it as a stand alone but couldn't support it in that kind of configuration. Therefore, I am hoping to see if anyone does use it that way and what if any problems they encountered. Thank you.

Tim

I use it almost every day, but not as a stand alone. I wasn't aware it was designed to be used as anything other than a plug in. PS Elements would be your least costly way of using it I'd imagine.

Tim,

I was a long-time PSP user until I started using Lightroom. I don't need or use a pixel-level editor very often at all.

I'm sorry that I can't answer your "stand-alone" question. However, I respectfully suggest that you consider Lightroom or PS Elements (as Mark recommends), using Nik as a plug-in.
