Another from Astrofest taken with the 5DII and 135L. Without a doubt, the most colourful region in the night sky. Never imaged this area, always wanted to. It was the main target I was chasing this time at Astrofest.

Loving this 5DII and 135L combo. At first I wasn't liking the diffraction spikes, but I'm starting to forgive that considering the tightness of the stars across the full frame sensor.

That's excellent Troy. Love the tight stars and the depth of the dark nebs. I assume the camera hasn't been modified which I think adds to it by making the yellow and blue reflection nebulosity stand out more.
Can you share the exposure details ?

Steve.

Cheers, mate. Was very impressed with the performance of the 135L. The camera isn't modded. Because of that, I was specificallly chasing reflection nebulae at Astrofest. Good pickup :)

This was 20x240s subs, ISO800, f/4. Darks, biases and flats applied of course. Still some slight vignetting remaining after the flats unfortunately but I did everything I could.
