I'm headed there in late Sept and these pictures have given me some great ideas on how to shoot Vegas. I too am a little hesitant about heights (old age) so not sure if I will get in the High Roller to get some shots.

the one problem with it also is its constantly moving, i think it may stop every once in a while but you wont be able to get amy long exposures.

Do you remember what the exposure was on #5? I love the centerline shot. Well, along with the sky. Beautiful colors.

5 was pretty fast, i had my iso pumped up too, i didnt want any movement in the High Roller at all you see.Also got lucky with that sky

Really nice! I was out there earlier this year just before it opened. Had a view of it out my window at the Mirage. I said to myself each night, "not just no...hell no!"

how long has the High Roller been in Vegas. I was there maybe 2 years ago but don't remember it.
But then again I don't remember a lot from that trip....

I was there in February this year. It was scheduled to open April 1. Not sure what exact date it opened

I went yesterday and posted a thread herethat should convince you to ride at night if you go. I am not fond of heights either but you are in a secure capsule, so the height is not really intimidating.
