Shot with my 50 or 85 and man I can see the limitations at times. This was also my first time using flash as well. the sun light was brutal to work with. ok, enough with the excuses.

I'll throw out some C&C
1) Seems fine considering the conditions. Nice look from bride perspective.
2) Okay but looks like a snapshot in that there is no composition. Might not have been much you could do given the circumstances.
3) Nice - shame the leather pad is intruding and would be better to see her eyes.
4) Cute shot - they are out of focus, her hair and ear are in focus
5) Nice smiles shot - he is out of focus, too narrow depth of field
6) Very nice but his glasses kill it for me. They might not care because it is who he is
7) I think there is too much space between them and it is way too bright in the middle for this to work.
8) Nice photo, great shot of the bride.

Nice shots, OP! No C&C, but I do have a question for you. To my eyes the pics you took with the 50L are quite a ways better looking than the shots with the 85mm 1.8. Looks sharper, better colors, definitely better bokeh imo.

Does this reflect your general experiences with these lenses?

If you are a first timer in wedding photography, then really you have done an awesome job. The wedding shots are perfectly captured. Just lovely!!

Thank you for your help, for some reason some of the pics are out of focus on here and I am not sure. In lightroom before I saved them, they were pretty sharp?

for number 6, all of the wedding party were wearing those types of glasses that day. I figured it would be a cute/fun picture for the couple. That was their first dance.

Stepped down to 1.8 the 50L is definitely sharper. For bokkeh quality, I feel they are pretty similar.

No clue who she is. Unfortunately, the ceremony setup was rough for any type of photography. There is a microphone stand that was in between the couple and the minister the entire time. And being outside it was tough for me.

I was not paid, I volunteered as a 2nd/3rd shooter that day.
