Both images are great but number 2 is definitely your stronger image.

Both images are great but number 2 is definitely your stronger image.  The funny part is, the color of the sun is as the camera captured it - I made no adjustments to the red. I did bring the luminance of the orange down a bit. The sun is behind some clouds, so perhaps the purple in clouds impacted the color of the sun ? Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.
