I am looking for a hard case to use for my upcoming large filters when i will order them, so i was thinking about Pelican brand, but i will accept any other brands for hard cases as long they are high quality or strong as Pelican.

I came out with 2 models that are very much suitable for the filters i will buy and it can handle also the filters i have already as they are smaller, so it will be like it will do 2 jobs, i have 4 Pelican cases, 3 of them are just dedicated for filters and accessories of filters, but all 3 of them are smaller to accommodate the larger filters, so what do you think about the 2 models here or if you know anything better?

I post one with foam and one without just to think if i don't need foam if i will load the case with filters, but sure i prefer with foam so it can protect it from any internal impact when it is safe from external impacts [I doubt it may have internal impact as long the external surface is absorbing impacts, but if there is gaps and space inside the case it will have impact when filters are moving around or up/down].

I welcome any recommendations.

3 cases of filters? How many filters do you have? This reminds me of the film days with lots of filters of all types and a matt box with several custom made matts. These days I travel with 3 77mm screw-ins (2 NDs and a CPL) and 4 step rings. It all fits in one small bag that rides on my belt. Everything else is done in post.

Canon 7d MkII, Canon 50D, Pentax 67, Canon 30D, Baker Custom 4x5, Canon EF 24-104mm f4, Canon EF 100mm f2.8 Macro, Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC

I have many many filters, because i buy cheap then expensive then another ones, now at the end i know which filters i need but too late after i bought many lenses so many filters too, and 3 cases are small, so one is only for filters holders and adapter rings, the other two which are the same i left it for filters, and what i did is, one case for my top quality chosen filters, the other case is for least used low quality filters, if i can sell the filters i don't need then i can sell one case.

But i asked here because i am going to buy larger filters to be used for my TS17 and/or Samyang 14mm, and the 3 cases are so small to accommodate the new larger filters i gonna buy.

My approach Tareq, is to put the filters in Klik Elite wallets and then pack them in a Peli case with the various holders, adapter rings and other filter based items.

This is not helping, the larger filters is not gonna get inside this one you posted, so what is the point then, i posted two hard cases that can accommodated larger filters, but was hoping you may know something better, if not going for larger then i have already the hard case and very happy using it for small/medium filters.

Sorry Tareq...."upcoming large filters" was all I had to go with so I took a guess at Lee type 10x15cm.

I already have LEE 10x15cm filters, i was talking about filters that are 6x7 [15cmx17cm] or even slightly larger [6x8", 6.6x6.6"].

I don't think that is big enough for Tareq's need. Pelican 1060 Micro Case - Product Dimensions: 9.4 x 5.6 x 2.6 inches

If you're going to put a filter inside a container then inside a Pelican case maybe a plastic Tupperware box would meet your need.

Don't worry, i found a Pelican case that will be good for my larger filters, don't know how big it is in real, but from the dimensions in specifications it tells me it will handle my larger sizes filters, but i may change again as i may buy even larger than the large i have, for 4x5/4x6 i have 2 great already, for my current 6" and later in the future 6.6"x8" i think i have to think about a case that can accommodate the largest i may have so it can accommodate the smallest i already have, so better buy once, if i knew i will go for larger sizes filters before then i wouldn't buy the Pelican 1060 i already have.

And i already posted 2 links on my OP showing that model can accommodate 6"x8" filters, but i have to check out again if i can handle 6.6" wide as well, length is not a problem.
