First time with the 17mm TSE. This is a room in a friends motel, each room has a different theme so they have asked me to shoot the various rooms over the course of a few times. This is the first room and my first time with the 17mm. Camera was set up in a small 4 foot hall that leads past the bath and into the room. Camera was on a tripod and leveled. I should also mention that this is SOOC, no edits. Photo will be edited for lighting, windows, some light painting, etc. before I am done. I am not happy with the distortion, especially around the table. I am curious to here the opinion of more seasoned shooters. Given the size of the room did I have any other options? Thanks in advance!

The distortion is a result of down shifting, I personally would not have shot this from such a tall perspective. Lower the camera a bit and you won't have to shift as much. :)

Distortion remains the same?

That shot looks good to me i would bet your friend will be very happy. It isnt that obvious that the table is distorted because the whole image looks detailed and clear.
