More info | Jul 26, 2014 16:22 | #4 I have an import preset that applies camera neutral to all images on import but it is really just used as a clean slate for me to start processing. I have a bunch of different presets I created which I will tend to apply. Been too lazy to create individual import presets to apply them on import. I also have a passport colour checker that I use to create custom camera profiles for when I want accurate colour representation (as opposed to what looks good artistically). Dan Marchant

Jul 26, 2014 16:55 | #6 I've tried a bunch but the colors never really seem to be "accurate" to how I remember the scene despite the white balance. Tried the untwisted profiles, invariant profiles, etc, but nothing really gives me nice accurate colors. I usually just use adobe standard, but it kind of seems to have a pinkish tone almost to it Facebook-- http://www.facebook.com/AndrewShoemakerPhotography

I usually just use adobe standard, but it kind of seems to have a pinkish tone almost to it Those profiles were developed by Adobe programmers to be "approximations", and were often done using just one camera of a particular model, so they aren't guaranteed to be "spot on" but only useful as a "starting point". From there you can tweak to your satisfaction tweak White Balance, either individual photos/batches or you can tweak a profile to create your own preset or default. Tony
