A first in my backyard.

And my first keeper.

I was set up shooting hummers of course and I hear a bird scream I have heard before, but not in my backyard.

I'm set at 1/1600-2000 ss.

I turn 90 degrees to my right and this beauty was there. I dialed down as fast as I could but not down enough (1/400 ss) and I tried to orient to the portrait but not fast enough.

lol I absolutely love it when that happens Ted, don't know if you remember I had to run to and through the house to get the camera this spring!! Great fun and nice shot!!
