PW Flex/Mini system not compatible with YN-568?

I sold my YN-622's and bought into the PW system. I currently own a combination of speedlights and monolights. I have 2x YN-568's, 2x AB1600's and 1x White Lightning X3200. I sold the YN-622's to fund the PW's because I got fed up with the YN-622's failing on me one day on a snowboard shoot.

I just realized now, that my PW's work great with my monolights (via AC9's), although they don't seem to be compatible with my YN-568's? Am I doing something wrong or are they simply not compatible?

I'm really upset with myself for not looking into this first. I want to be able to mix speedlights and monolights. Suggestions?

Hmmm... I just thought of an idea. Could I not just re-buy the YN-622's and put one on each speedlight, and then buy a YN-622-TX and make adjustments in my hand (without mounting it on my camera's hotshoe since the TT1 will be there, controlling the monolights)?

Or does the YN-622-TX need to be on camera?

No. It will make adjustments to the remote 622s/flashes in hand.

You will need a 622 on the camera in mix mode (so as not to interfere with the TX settings) to fire the speedlites.
