Any dark skies near Watsonville, CA?

I will be traveling to Watsonville CA area week of Aug 11th. Are there any dark skies at or near this area that would give me great view of the Perseids meteor shower and the night sky? I am thinking the light pollution may be pretty significant with near by cities.
