Jul 29, 2014 11:11 | #7 Easy to tell a Bouchon, the Messerschmitt Bf 109's engine is inverted so the exhaust manifolds come out much lower down the cowling, the two youtube films clearly show the differences. The commentator at the Airshow kept going on about the fact they are the same engine in the Spitfire and the Bouchon but they sounded so different, not to me they didn't, they sounded identical.
