They look great. Editing is clean. As for critique. Number 1 has too much headroom. Two, maybe a lower shooting angle? But it looks great. Three is money. Four, five and six, are good, but all the same photo. Last one is spot on too. Good emotion and posing.

Whoops! My mistake. The pics are fixed now. :) Thanks for the comments, Trent! I appreciate the feedback very much.

I have benefited from a number of things you've posted in the past, so here's my two cents to try and return the favor. Maybe my .5 cent since I've never shot a wedding before :)

1. Definitely agree on the headroom, and given the manly posturing I wonder if this might have looked better with just a slightly more upward perspective to the standing men?
2. No CC, but why is there always one person who doesn't get the message not to smile? :)
3-4-5. Like, and bet the bride did, too.
6. LOVE. Beautiful shot.
7. It looks intentional/planned, but the gazebo right behind his head is a little distracting. That might have made a nice balance point to put it to the side in the background and position them more along a rule-of-thirds spot. Which would also give some variety to the main B&G portraits, since it looks like a lot of them are centered.
8. Very cute moment, you got great smiles, both rings, no awkward hands, and it doesn't look super-posed... well done!

Again, don't do weddings, so those are just my thoughts as a portrait consumer. Nice job, thanks for sharing!!

I'm viewing on an ipad, but the exposure looks perfect on the background and a bit underexposed on the skin, maybe a bit more fill light on edit would solve, If get to shoot there again, would fill w/ flash or reflector (if with assistant) to balance the bright background.

All things considered, I'd rather have a hot background and perfectly exposed skin than the other way around.

This is all my opinion of course. :)

There's always one that is pretty stoic. :P I appreciate the comments on framing, too. It's always good to keep in mind (but I do tend to lose my mind a bit when shooting). :)

Thanks for the feedback. I will check the levels on the faces and see if I need to tweak. I am working on a calibrated monitor but probably could use an update.

I was the secondary on this wedding. But the primary missed half the ceremony. Whoops! ;)

Not a bad set. There are a few things that I personally don't like but that's just my opinion.

1 & 2 - Not keen on the lighting in the first. The shadows on the wall and the 'dead' poses really kill the image. The angle in the second would be good if the background was more out of focus.

3 - 7 - I like these a lot. Only thing is that they look a little flat but that might have been the intention.

8. Just a tad bit underexposed... Compared to the rest... Anywho that's just me knit-picking :)

Good set man!

Looks like you had some difficult circumstances with both time of day and rain.

The head room on one has been pointed out. The other guys shot they all look a little awkward and unsure of themselves. You'll get better at putting subjects at ease with time, but the positioning and exposure, etc are on point there.

All the others seem solid considering the conditions with #8 being the obvious standout. You nailed that one, soft light, good exposure, color and you captured the emotion.
