All taken with the use of an extension tube to allow closer focusing.

Male Purple Finch

Juvenile Male Purple Finch...his color is starting to show.

Thanks Cheryl. One of my biggest challenges is being able to "goof off" and take pictures when the light is at it's best. Then we have those darn Hummingbirds that are most active at both ends of the day when light is really poor. But I will keep trying!
