video transfer

i have a canon mv730i camcorder. i can only transfer video's from the sd card and not the cassette wat do i need to transfer the video to the pc so i can write it on a cd.

well you'd need the USB or firewire cable that came with your camcorder for a start... just plug it into the right port... as soon as your pc recognises the device, either use the software supplied with the camcorder to automatically transfer the video or open the folders of the device and copy and paste the video file to your hard disk(you'll recognise it easily, its an mpeg file usually)... i'm assuming you know how to write the video onto a cd once you've transferred the video to your pc... hope that helps... cheers:)
