Thank you all very much for the beautiful entries.
my apologies for the delay . I have a few workmen in and everything is upside down
(more or less)

there has to be a winner and two runners up so its always going to make choosing very difficult among friends but always always it is sincere congratulations to all
especially the winners and runners up
~ to all the people who entered the PoTN G - series speed challenge a big Thank You
and thats meaning : the taking part is of the essence
:cool:

Maureen
‘Water Vibrators’
loved this very much. the beautiful colour , the angle, gorgeous legs lol and the ripple of water, all sends vibes down the spine
lol

Rpolitsr
‘ String Vibrations’

what a really beautiful portrait with concentration and care
and I just know ..... that the sound must be equally very lovely

Hemang
Mehendi/henna on occasion of cousin’s wedding

that is a very interesting intricate design of obvious much significance and meaning
its a lovely photo memory of this special occasion

Spoco
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

what a gorgeous cat just resting peacefully ...while listening to the music vibes
really nice photo

: ))

Trumper
'The Mighty and Mini'

I loved your title (as was before ), I add it in as it was not in the subject line, it was and is perfect for the lovely capture of the bird
thank you and a Big Welcome to the challenge

Northants nin
‘Vroom Vibrations’

I can imagine the great sound from all those beautiful motors when starting up
its a lovely photograph and many of those interested in motors like it will love to see it

Oh Look
‘a butterfly reared to adulthood dries her new wings’

very good capture of the butterfly, the newly transformed came out very well hanging on to the finger
I hope she survives for a long time and has a good life onwards

Teekay
‘High fives and Hand claps’

this is great shot of the man coming in, perhaps late but got there.. which is the important bit no matter how long it takes ?
I somehow feel he did not finish (completely) all whole three very difficult tasks which a triathlon calls for,
and I love the atmosphere around with everyone enjoying all so much
(and maybe a few porky's in the telling)
:mrgreen:

but I could be wrong

: )
: )

Raven

‘How I feel about those ‘good vibrations’

terrific photo taken and I can imagine exactly the feelings , wearing the headphones with good music and special vibrating sounds

Very many thanks to you all.

Winner # 1 Maureen
runners up # 2 Raven
and Rpoltsr # 3

Congratulations !

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
: )
Welcome to challenge # 495 everyone
the 'smashing' tune of the Beach Boys made me think 'Good Vibrations'
to capture a photo for the challenge regards something quite nice, very good and or very pleasant ,even very wild and wonderful.
depending how one sees it ,without hallucinating lol
(no harm or too much joy should come to anyone during this task, as one has to come back down at some point and then the whole subject or object would be defeated,
how low can you go is not on the agenda, :confused:maybe with another challenge , sometime)
?
lol
all while looking at or the unexpected things happening around which make people feel life is good, giving a pleasant feeling and forgetting the bigger worries for a while.
it could be your garden shed even. :eek: I know I love what a shed can do for one, holding all that stuff,
so, nothing is to be snuffed at. whatever floats our boats is all that matters
one does not need to be 'high' to get or see that it can be all around us. things to be very grateful for. could be including people or not.
children this time not to be included though
surroundings or things which cause a good (enough) vibrations.
not big country scenes this time
maybe a great extra in lives which are great blessings
hope that explains something of what I mean.
its in your hands
good composition and angle etc, whatever it needs, taking care when taking the photo
looking forward to having all on board , with good vibes:cool:
and in having to choose a winner will not mean one is not as very important as the other
thank you
~ all the best
marie
Congrats to the podium crew! Great shots all. You could feel the good vibrations. Maureen's shot, especially, with the rippled water.... fantastic!
I loved Northants nin's pic. My first car was a 1969 MG Midget. What a fun little car that was. A pain in the... ummm.... neck.... to keep running well, but a blast to drive. I don't know if those are AH-Sprites or MG Midgets.... them being pretty much one and the same, but mine was bright yellow. I finally sold it so I could get a real car, but I've often longed for a drive in one again.
Thanks Marie. I was amazed at how many great ideas spun out of that topic.... all interesting. Appreciate the hosting job.
Steve
Congratulations to Maureen - a beautiful shot and the only one where you can actually SEE vibrations - hard to beat that! Congrats also to Raven and Rafael for their fine efforts to illustrate this rather tough subject.
Ah..... Many trips to the Fresno Zoo this year partly due to quadruple tigers cubs & twin baby orangutans born but I always love the flamingos. They are so elegant looking & I love their beaks in the water vibrating along as they drink :) I knew what shot I wanted as soon as I saw the challenge title. I will have a new one up later today.
Congrats also to Jim & Rafael. Thanks, Marie!
