If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Lovely campus.. Been there many times. Right across from Tryon Creek State Park, a jewel of an urban wilderness.

For sure! I spent a good amount of time in the Tryon when I was in Portland earlier this year. Can't wait to be there with my camera.

I love that place, It's my favorite location that I have been to so far to photograph. Make sure to catch a sunrise at boneyard beach there

I will definitely go back there one day for sunrise. I only had one day to go while we were in Charleston, and we didn't have a good sunrise (at least the kind I like to shoot) the whole time I was there. Not a cloud in the sky.

No photo to share at the moment, but rather tell everyone that genius me managed to drop my camera tonight. I haven't a clue how it happened, but it popped off my tripod and fell to the street. The battery cover flew off and the battery came out and now it won't turn on.

ARGH!

I do have insurance and have already emailed them about it, but it doesn't really help my current mood.

A warning to all of us to always double check all screws, clamps, clips etc. Hope your insurance company is sympathetic.

Cheers
