I just sold my beloved 1Ds Mark II so I could trade up to a 6D. Can anyone point me toward some links or posts about the best current deal available for the body only?

Refurb is OK as long as it still has a warranty, and I do have a broken Rebel XT which I could use for CLP trade-in.

Hah, should have just started there! I phoned in my order just now for a refurb 6D. Total is going to be $1,367.28 shipped for turning in my dead XT.

Very awesome, how did you manage this? every place I've ever gone to try to do a shot like this there is always too much haze and humidity that close to the horizon.

really cant tell you much, was my first time at that beach AND shooting milky way. There was a building from a distant that was lighting up the waves.

Not only that, the low price at Abe's of Main is for an import model and there's no GPS & Wifi (under features). Plus, no US warranty.

Glad you purchased one from Canon. The 1-yr warranty still stand with their refurbished products.
