We've had several intense storms around middle Tennessee over the last few weeks. This was from my back porch. The red in the sky comes from a GM plant thats a few miles away from my house.

Award winning imagery.

I had my intervalometer shooting continuous 30sec exposures from around 10min. The lightning was almost constant, but most of it was from cloud to cloud, so the clouds were blocking the view. It made the clouds pop though I blended these from a couple exposures just using lighten mode in PS.
