I have had both and can confirm, the STM is sharper. It's a great lens.

The heat here in NYC has been a bit uncomfortable the past week which has made outdoor fun...not so fun! Watching the Olympics yesterday when I see the sky outside start flashing. Grabbed the tripod and headed for the balcony. Managed to snag a couple of the light show.

I was out in the noonday sun today and decided I hadn't held my camera enough lately. Managed to capture this dragonfly with the 6d, Sigma 150-600mm and a medium extension tube.
