Before I even saw you were in Florida my first thought when I saw these was....'these look like Florida skies'.

We do get some great sunsets.

Since you were shooting Bulb, what time of day was this taken? It's beautiful.

Just received my 6D and I'm playing around with it and the bugma ! so far it's a huge improvment compared to my old 450D ;) This has been shot at 12 800 ISO and there is less noise than with the 450D at 800 ISO... Even my bugma can't believe its eyes. I think I'm going to love it.

Test picture with available light to see how the 6D manages high ISO, straight out of camera. There certainly is noise but far less than I expected (and I'll try to fix it in PP)

The graininess adds to the "feel" of your image. sharpness isn't everything. I like your composition. works for me.

the high ISO performance of the 6D is amazing.

Enjoy.

Alright, here's a question.... I'm in between cameras moving from crop sensor to FF. I had been on the fence about the 6D until I ran across this thread and the original 6D thread. You guys have all but sold me on the camera. However, here's the question. Would it be stupid to go out and by a new 6D tomorrow with the 6DM2 on the horizon early 2017? Do you think the updates will be worth the wait or just by now?

That was my plan too (to wait) but I was not patient enough. Purchased mine last March and I am loving it. If the 6d2 is concrete for release next year, I would wait. I haven't been reading about its rumored specs but I have a feeling that it would have more af points than 6d original. If that happened, I would definitely add it to my gears.
