Of course!
This is Georgia (Caucas), Uplistsikhe, the ancient town built in and on the rock (in Georgian its name means "the lord's fortress"). Archaeologists consider it to be the oldest town in Georgia - they date it from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages, at that period it was situated in the middle of the ancient country and was a very important political and religious center.
The place is magnificent, really! So wild and every corner is just full of this spirit of ancience... We were deeply impressed.

Fabulous catch!

Is this Egret about the happiest guy you've ever seen? Then....there are the damn Eagles. They always seem to be just out of my range to get a really killer picture. I guess I'll just have to keep chasing them. The lament of any wildlife photographer....and as Tom Petty says....waiting is the hardest part.

Like them all but I think the middle one is pretty neat with the double. I can't understand how people get to photograph a raptor's eyeball close up - the eagles (golden) here see someone move at two miles distance and off they go!

Just curious.. Any thoughts to upgrading to the 6D mkii if it comes to market? I hear February and on shelves in April..
For $1999.00 would you buy one?
And, will it be on par with the 5D3 or better, in some ways of course, I know they are built for 2 different users..
