Jan 10, 2019 13:33 | #8345 quickben wrote in post #18778596 Apologies for resurrecting an old post, but I felt I had something to add. I too notice that colours from the 6D are slightly cooler than those from the 5D (i've had both), however, that's the only difference. All I need to do is add one notch towards the yellow side of the warmth slider in LR to correct this. That's it. Having said that, since I bought my Tamron 24-70 2.8, I haven't needed to do this very often. It's almost like having a slightly warm CPL permanently fixed to the lens. Colour-wise, all I do now is knock the vibrance up a bit (+5). I don't miss my old 5D at all, now. It was a great camera, but the 6D surpasses it in every way as far as IQ is concerned. I've made my peace with the colors at this point. I have a couple of presets in LR that work pretty well to give me roughly the colors I'm looking for. 2 6D - 35 f1.4L, 135 f2L, 50 f1.8 STM, 85 f1.8

I had two Christmas themed newborn sessions mid December this year. Jan 11, 2019 11:51 | #8347 Canon 6D with Canon EF 50 f/2.5 compact macro with life size adaptor. No tripods allowed in local botanical garden, so very shallow depth of field and not as sharp as they could be. Purple flowers are <0.25 in diameter. Way too many cameras, lenses, tripods, and bags (especially bags, where did all these bags come from?)

Your shots are great. The images have very accurate colors. You obviously know what your doing, but I was wandering how much of the true color renditions can you contribute to the 6D sensor (I know lens choice also plays a role)? I've just switched from 2 7Ds to 2 6Ds but because of the time of year I've only used the 6D for indoor sports & can't wait until spring to get out into the woods & see my results.
