So I'm considering getting a used 6D.

Based on the feedback here, I broke down and bought a used 6D. Went out to apple country for its maiden voyage. Paired it with a 70-300mm f/4-5.6L.

After a few years on a t6i it was time to find out what full frame was all about. Loving the ISO performance, comparatively massive viewfinder, and ergonomics. This camera is such a great deal for anyone looking to try out full frame for relatively cheap. Only have one lenses for the damn thing but still loving it.

High ISO shot from an aimless drive the other night

@lucky - I knew going in I’d need something besides a 50 so the real value is being able to get another lenses or two to have a more complete system

@green - just got it about two-ish weeks ago. Bought it on this forum actually

moope, I really enjoy my 6D and it's low/available-light capabilities. I shot the image in this post almost in total darkness...barely could make the shape of my buddy out in the dark. It's a great camera.

We've officially entered the deepfreeze this weekend as temperatures dropped to single digits and below zero. I'm not sure who is looking forward to spring more, me or the birds.
