Jun 08, 2022 16:24 | #9257 nrowensby wrote in post #19369597 This was mostly used as a test to see if 24 was gonna be wide enough for my upcoming trip, borrowed the EF mount from my 50STM, none of the screws lined up, but the metal mount from the 50 had a nice friction fit on the 18-55... If I could find a mount that fit the 18-55 perfectly, I may mod it permanently... but will likely be picking up something wider. With 18-55STM on 6D; This is how much vignette to expect at 24mm f/4. griffljg Senior Member More info | Jun 30, 2022 03:58 | #9262 I decided to give my old Canon EOS 6D a go with some rainbow lorikeets in my back yard. The very shallow depth of field shows the shortcomings in my focusing technique. This was one of the few that was really in focus. Larry

The 6D is far from perfect, but I agree that the colors that come out of this camera are outstanding. There's been a few times in Lightoom that I've hit the "Reset" button thinking I've already edited the photo, just to find out that not a single adjustment had been made to it. this is very true. the image quality makes up for almost all negatives about this camera. but in my opinion, the 6d works best as a hobby camera not the main workhorse
