That is the same I got mine for earlier this year. So the price has been pretty static. I would have gotten it earlier, but when I was finally ready to pull the trigger, they were out of stock for a little over a month.
You will love the upgrade. It is really a phenomenal camera body.

Nope. It is a 3 shot focal stack for the foreground as I had to open up the aperture and raise the ISO a bit so I could ensure I froze the flowers in the wind. I did take a 4th shot exposed for the sky, but I believe I could have captured the entire scene within the DR of the 6d...but cannot recall for certain. I have recently just gotten into the habit of taking one additional image exposed for the sky just to be safe.

Wonderful work. Love this image.
