I definitely understand the sentiment about losing interest. Right now the trees are changing colors and soon they will be losing their leaves and it will look bleek. But once the snow flies, then we pick back up with winter landscape shots.
You all are about to head into summer now correct?

Yeah the horrible season of summer is coming up soon. I know most people love summer but where I live it gets as hot as around 107 Fahrenheit! I'm hoping to move over East to Sydney next year and I'm sure interest will be higher than ever since I love urban photography and the city I live in is more like a small town.

You're lucky to be heading into winter and seeing snow, I'm sure you'd prefer snow over 107 degree days right?

I feel your pain. We're currently in our two-week period of beautiful fall weather here in Florida, but it's always short-lived. A week ago it was 100*F with 90% humidity and soon it will be 30*F with the same humidity. Most folks think we have a nice pleasant winter down here, but I'd take a dry 0*F over our wet, bone-chilling 30*F any day.

Good luck – just keep an eye on your gear out in the sun to make sure it doesn't melt!

Glad to know someone shares my bad weather pain haha. 100F is like a normal summer day here so I definitely know how you feel. I don't mind the heat as much as I do the sun, if it was pure dark grey clouds but 90F I wouldn't mind but it's the sun that kills me. Doesn't it rain a lot there in general? I never been to Florida (or anywhere in America/Canada) but I remember on Burn Notice it always seemed to be stormy clouds in the sky :P

Thanks I will and I gotta make sure I don't melt too! LOL. Enjoy your cold weather and know that I'll be jealous!

First attempt at this composite portrait thing. I need to add another light in front as a key light, and probably shoot the background first then gel the lights to get a closer exposure to the location but I figured I'd post up regardless. Thanks for looking!

Excellent! Reminds me of Joel Grimes' work.

These are beautifully sharp. Did you do any special post processing?
