This lens is great and you'll be glad you got it. Fast reliable and great IQ. Great for a walk around lens also, especially on a FF.

i agree, i never really liked 50mm on crops, just to tight...on FF its just wide enough

i've been shooting with the 7d as of late because of the more reliable focusing that I get compared to my 5d, but today I used it with the 5d for my daughter's birthday trip to the zoo and man I forgot how much better it felt on a full frame camera.

My feelings exactly. Too tight on my MK III and perfect on my 5D.
