I love the low light capabilities of this lens, I recently shot my new born son with it in the maternity ward last weekend, no heavy flash needed. So you can capture those candids smoothly.

This lens is awesome mine seem to have particularly good autofocus as well, here's a completely unsharpened snapshot i took today the camera got less then a second to focus after i had pulled it out.
