Was the doctor shot posed? If it was it looks very natural.

They are all models, I just had them pretend to be who they are in the shot.
Doc carried the shot, the little boy is a natural, and you have to learn how to be a Director to get your models to do what you want for the camera.

Here are a couple ISO 400 WFO
It's a love hate relationship with this lens.....it hates it when I push it to do shots it does not want to do......It's a dynamite lens for the money when I shoot with in it's means, that's when I love it

those would be excellent stock photos - im assuming this is what they are? you mentioned models

i love your sig lol

Sad but true, isn't it? ;)

think your pic might need a bit of white balancing?

That really depends. Oddly enough, the yellow hue you see in the pic was the real thing. The yellow tungsten light coupled with orange/yellow sheets produced a yellowish picture. I'm not sure if it should be counter-balanced, or left as is...

Paulice,

Your copy looks to be just about perfect. Mine may is front focusing by about 2mm to 4mm. I hope this is the only reason why my f/1.4 images are soft, since it's a fixable problem.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I took these with a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and with a Canon 50mm 1.4 lense.
The reason I purchased this lens was because I dislike the flash, and prefer to handhold the camera and shoot with existing light. I therefore need a lens that would allow me to do that.

I find the lens to be wonderful in low light, but what I don't like is that I can't get any "width" to the shot. But, the "bokeh" is superb, and wonderful for "portrait" type shots,
where it really excells.

I took these shots at a Broadway Cabaret of a terrific performer and am pretty happy with the results. Since, I've got to use a ISO of 1600, there's some "noise", but I don't mind the noise, because the captured moment is more important.

Please let me know what you think?

Thanks,

mypoppy31
