I'm looking for a good program to do HDR, as I think the one that is in Photoshop is too simple, and doesn't have many options to tweak in order to get the desired result. In addition, as I want to learn this subject seriously, I'm also looking for a good website that explains HDR in a coherent and thorough manner.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Mandatory reading: http://www.hdrlabs.com/book/index.html (external link) - do yourself a favor and purchase the physical book.

As far as an HDR application goes, there are a lot from which to choose. It really depends of you truly need 32bit data in your workflow, or if you are looking to do more exposure blending without the need to work with 32bit data.
