Hello. Im just wodering if anyone has set their eos m cameras enabling the 1/3 iso stops. I only have the full 1 stop setting. If so, how do I enable 1/3 stops.

Heya,

As far as I know, you can only use full stops. If you use auto ISO, it will select partial stops.

That's if you're using the default camera. It's probably different with Magic Lantern, but I don't use that.

Very best,

I don't own one so have to rely on the manual but on page 284 (attached) it shows...

C. Fn. I: Exposure

[0] 1/3-stop
[1] 1/2-stop

This is for f-stops not ISO. You have too install ML to get 1/3 stops for ISO

You are correct, I missed the "1/3 ISO" part in the subject line.

Canon doesn't give you 1/3 ISO stop manual selection on anything until you get to the xxd line of cameras and up. :/

With Magic lantern I get access to 160, 320, 640, 1250,2500 and 5,000.

They're much cleaner than the full stop ones.

Been using it for a year, it's brilliant.
Unlocks some stuff that's only available on the $12,000 1DC.
