That's absolutely fine (though I don't remember Nantahala being mentioned ).

It looked to me like a shot across any of the man-made lakes of the Blue Ridge or Smokies. Lighting made it look like it was facing north, with a finger or two of land between the dock and the far shore, and the dock with no other nearby docks was pretty unusual. Once the hint was given that it was near Deal's Gap, it got narrowed down to two lakes so I looked on the south shores of those lakes where there were no concentrations of docks and I happened to see that exact dock with the yellow ladder in a sat image.

I think that's more like 0.01 miles..

This was shot facing approximately east. Looking for the name of the spot. I don't think there's a need to guess; the clues in the pic should be enough that you can confirm on your own.

I posted from home on a Mac and I can see the image here at work on a PC.

EDIT: if your browser won't open anything that's not https then that may be the issue, but that can be worked around. I host quite a few non-https sites and they aren't an issue.

Showing on my end even through my work firewall/VPN, rehosted on POTN if that's okay. --- Europe?
