Shooting from the boat is real difficult ... but the keepers make it all worthwhile ... here are a couple shots from yesterday ... 5D Mk2, 100-400 f5.6L - f8.0 1/1600 ... AI Focus I find works the best to track focus on the tuber (is that a word??)

and another ... same sequence but a few frames later ...

and one of my son before we managed to flip him over sideways :)

Thanks for looking

cheers

Those look really good for having been shot from a moving boat! I try this now and then with limited success but usually have a boat operator more interested in terrorizing the tube riders than facilitating decent captures of them in action. Good job.

thanks dlos ... today I tried shooting a nesting Osprey from a moving boat - was a tad trying - but did get a couple of keepers :)

on another note - what I have had a ton of success with tubing is: besides the stills - I grab my iPhone video and shoot vid and then put vid and stills together with MovieMaker - everyone loves them ...
