A few Green Heron shots that I finally got around to. Sorry for the Green Herons lately, not much else happening here and the limiting weather conditions haven't helped over the past few months.

Beautiful work Steve, the clarity is outstanding. His "green-ness" is more apparent in these shots than most.

Terrific as usual, Steve. Always love Greenies. For some reason there aren't many species of birds around down here, either. Must be in between seasons. Have been in Estero for three days now. It's the first time I've seen so few birds there.


My Gear: 6D, 7D, EOS-M w EF-M 22 f2 STM and EF-M 18-55 f3.5-5.6 IS STM, 17-40L f4, 24-70L f2.8, 100 f2.8 non-IS macro, 70-200L f/4 IS, 400L f5.6,, Canon 1.4x II TC, Canon Speedlite 430 EX II, Better Beamer. Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod, 2 monopods, Manfrotto ballhead and pistol grip tripod heads.

Ian, I don't see this much green on these birds very often. If I catch them close enough to breeding time my chances improve.
