Here in New England, we live on a small pond which runs heavy with little fish. The fish attract all kinds of waterfowl. This afternoon I stepped out and saw this fellow perched on a branch in the middle of the pond. I just live being able to shoot waterfowl without having to travel!

7D, 100-400L at 400mm, 1/1600 sec, f/5.6, ISO 800.

That's a nice shot. They are spooky little birds.


Couple of Canon bodies, a couple of Canon lens, few gadgets all stuffed in a bag...and a stick, and a tripod.
