Aug 03, 2014 22:19 | #3 I agree that there seems to be no true point of interest. If you crop off the tree tops it may (or may not) force the eye into seeing the reflection as the primary point of interest and the lily pads as a secondary point. Unfortunately, the overgrown tree towards the left breaks up the green/purple line across the image. It's a pretty setting, I'm sure it's beautiful in person. Thick trees are tough to make interesting shots of, believe me I've tried. You have to get creative, get low, get high, find a subject to isolate. It's hard to make sweeping landscape shots of dense trees. Keep at it!
