Here are a few of the Mountain Blue Bird shots I took while camping a few weeks ago.
I loved the blue color of these as many of the birds I'm used to are a bit drab.

What a great set of shots, well done. When I think that I have finally decided to buy the 5D MKIII you show me/ us what the venerable 7D is capable of producing!!!! Confusion confusion.

Thank you all for the responses.
This may have been the prettiest species up there.

The males were very cooperative that first day and I hardly
saw any after that. I'm lucky to have gotten these nice shots.

Red, as for the 7d, it does pretty well in good light. If the light gets
low its not nearly as good.

An excellent set,all are very good shots. So Jeremy, did you shoot these near your home area or were you on a trip looking for something different?
They eluded my camera while on our road trip last week but we did see several for seconds at a time. Beautiful little birds.
