Thanks for the comments :)

It was really exciting for me as it's the first time I have seen this bird, much less with it's young and nest. Did not really stumble upon it as. There were tons of photographers parked there taking pictures and everytime it flew back to the nest with food you could hear all the 10fps/12/fps/14fps firing simultaneously in it's full glory. Haha!

There is a place on the (US) east coast where lots of bald eagles gather in the winter. On certain days there are dozens and dozens and dozens of photographers lining up along the fence on the river bank. This fence is also nicknamed "million dollar fence" because on such day, you can see a long row of huge telephoto lenses spanning from one end of the fence to another. When certain eagle activities occur, the sound of collective rapid shutter firing is quite an experience.

Very well done, Gene. You seem to have a knack for being in the right place/right time. Assuming this was in Singapore, may I ask where just out of curiosity? (Yeah, still kicking myself:oops:)

Yea this was in Singapore (kick harder lol). Pasir Ris Park. I chanced upon a collared kingfisher nest last week at the Botanical Gardens but only had my 50mm. Will post pictures after I visit it tomorrow with the right equipment.

Cheers!
