OhLook, I may have written a confusing description of my photo/work. The term "cutting" or "cutting in" is referring to painting a straight line between two different colors, not actually cutting the drywall with a knife.

Oh man, Steve, that must be near impossible to do with the walls in your pictures. I now fully understand why these walls gave you nightmares!

Oh. Thanks for explaining. I thought you were talking about installing the stuff. I get how even laying down tape to mask an edge wouldn't work well on a bumpy wall.

Suppose you do it perfectly and the line is straight when seen head on. It'll still look crooked when viewed from any other angle!

Thanks. I just wish I'd had more time to improve the execution of the idea.

Went to a Country Fair this weekend and managed to find some Texture.

Texture has been a bad word to me this week so took my camera to the job site and took a couple shots to share.


After painting 8000 square feet of heavy textured drywall this week I can see it in my sleep.
