Does this work? Specifics I need to work on? I am trying to take less snapshot photos and more interesting images.

i like the play of colors from the lollipop and the dress. Like the composition, although i might shift her to the right a hair.

looks like you might be back focused a bit, the hand and lolli might be a touch more in focus than the eyes. Her face seems a bit cooler than her right arm. You might want to correct for the face to warm it up a bit and then cool down the arm selectively.

good shot!

I agree with he's gone. I would also say to play with angles more. Get right down to eye level when photographing kids and shoot down less. Shooting down is okay too but IMO you get more of a connection when you're at their level.

In this case I like the higher perspective you've used vice getting down at her level. I wish her eyes were a bit sharper though. Bummer! Like he's gone said, it looks like your lens is back focusing a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. I recently micro adjusted using focal. I'm hoping this picture was before I micro adjusted but I can't remember! And yes, I agree about both the focus and the white balance. I have a booger of a time getting correct skin tone for my youngest. She is extremely fair.

I agree with those above and I love the colors. Maybe cropping off a bit of the right would help? I think I would try and crop it a little to the right of her left arm, so there's no flooring to the right of the picture. (of course, if it doesnt work you can undo it. digital is wonderful!)
