Today I went to my favourite Camera shop and picked up some video equipment for my video rig.

Just looked at the Cactus 6 triggers that just arrived on the shelves. I'll have to say this inexpensive trigger system appears to be fantastic in theory. I'll be picking up 4 of them soon ;)

For quick adjustment for rim light on a dance floor these will work awesome.

I liked my first 3 so much after the first week of use I ordered 3 more. So simple and reliable compared to my PW's with Canon Speedlights.

I bought it with their RF60 speedlights (2 of them). Man, this IS just what I've been looking for as an hobbyist.
Portable, simple, convenient, accurate, and the RIGHT price tag.

I did some testing of the RF60 and I was surprised that they gave me the same output as my 580EX when placed into a softbox and when bounced off the ceiling. The guide number is a bit less so I think it is producing more light off axis. I like the convenience of the built in radio. A nice clean convenient setup.

Yep, I'll be selling my 580ex's to finance the purchase of more RF60's. Built in radio, HSS, etc. And most importantly a waranty, since canon no longer supports the 580 at all.

When it ceases to be fun, it will be time to walk away

I can also send love for the Cactus triggers. Have v5 but never had a problem with them.
