rokinon fisheye??

i recently got a fisheye and i just love it,i also got a lens filter kit,it came with a bunch of adapters for different size filter threads,i want to use the filters on my fisheye so i can use the fisheye for some long exposures with a nd filter,since the lens sticks out so far there are no threads on the lens,has any one managed to put s filter set up on a fish eye,the filters i have a square filters,any ideas thanx

To be honest, you are not going to find a filter holder that sits on a 8mm lens while staying out of the field of view. Also, the fact that the Rokinon hoods are permanent doesn't help your situation.

When I had the 14mm Rokinon I found a system that worked, but it was damn expensive. Best of luck, and post back here if you find something.

Looks like its for the 14mm but you would be looking for something similar to this ultimately. I can guarantee it will not fit the current filters that you have. That is why it ends up being too expensive to actually be worth it.

does yours have a removable hood? i'd think you could DIY something with that if it does...you just want to make sure you don't have any light leaks

that link seems a lot easier though :)

The only thing that sucks about the linked idea is having to take the lens all the way off if you want to shoot without the filter. Finding those filter sheets to cut in varying strengths should also be a challenge.
