Poyatos Goldmember  More info | Aug 06, 2014 10:37 | #1 I found this Broad-bodied Chaser perching on lush vegetation near a small pond. No sooner had I tried to get closer than it took off in rapid and direct flight.  Composed shot before moving in.  The top notched left-hand front wing along with the torn edge at the base of the rear right-hand wing indicate that this is the same Chaser as in the first shot. So perhaps him being spooked in the first instance wasn't such a bad thing   Alex

I rather like the second and third image but the reason I like them has more to do with the composition. Sometimes I think we can get too obsessed with sharp focus when there are a great deal of other aesthetic considerations to consider. Alex
