First, the male, 3or 4 nervous sips, all on the far side of the salvia. Surprised the camera grabbed focus on the bird.

And then the female. Lazily tasting virtually every bloom, all around the plant. Took 30+ shots of her.

Thank you, guys, but I think you're way too generous. Very disappointed in the sharpness in these after preview-almost deleted thread. They looked much better in PS. Don't know if it's P'Bucket or what. And they look more noisy here, too. Attached 1 to compare-thoughts?

Very nice Rog.

Mask the BG and do noise reduction on it alone. Then smart sharpen the whole file. Make sure you view the file at 100% in PS.

Thank you, John. What do you mean by "smart sharpen"? Do it intelligently? Pardon my ignorance-there is so much of the tech side that I am totally ignorant about.
