My local supplier has:
Gossen Digipro F2 - 2900SEK
Sekonic L-308S - 2400SEK

The Gossen seem to be the better buy. I especially like that the sensor can be rotated to allow the display to be always visible.

Am I likely to be unhappy and should look for something else?

I'm not a pro, and have a limited number of lights. But I just don't like to always have to take quite a number of test shots just to figure out the camera settings or how much power I need from the lights.

I use one and quite like it.

Small, thin, simple - and can settings can be changed with one hand. No "Hold A & Push B" that often sees you cradling camera (in my case) in my left harm while working two buttons on a Sekonic. The swivel dome is nice.

I also like the instant on - push the button to take reading from 'off' state and you get a reading. No need to push "On" first.

One thing to note that can initially freak some people out who don't read the description - there is no off button. It just goes into sleep mode after 30 sec or so.

Have been using mine for 3-4 mos on same battery no issues - consumes very little juice. Had it and a Sekonic 358 when first bought the Gossen and both tested virtually identical - so sold Sekonic.

Since the dome clicks in place but does not retract it is exposed and thus a bit more vulnerable. This dome, for the Luna Star F2, is the replacement/spare.

Thank you. It sounds like I wouldn't have any reasons to be disappointed with the Gossen.
