I know there's a lot of people here that use Synology NAS units. Seems there's a ransomware virus that exploits some of the older firmwares.

Seems the latest version of their firmware/os isn't effected

Thanks for posting...I hadn't seen this and haven't updated my Synology NAS in the last year...but just did so :)
