Disappointed in my last shots posted. Worked on another from the same day and forced myself to work in LR(no comfort level here yet). Then finished up in Elements.

I was a hard core Elements user too, now I dread having to go there! Lightroom is the bomb! I continue to learn little tricks all the time, mostly from Scott Kelby! I got Lightroom 5, a Mac computer, and Wacom Tablet all about the same time....talk about brain overload! I'm a slow learner, but I'm learning slowly!

Thanks, folks. Spent 2 hrs w/ LR tutorials last nite-even dug out some earphones to "zone in" more:). Cheryl, if you haven't already, the vertical style feeders, no perches or perches removed, provide for a predictable feeding pattern-in and back drinks. You can learn their pattern quickly and get the timing down for shots away from the feeder or less feeder to clone out.
Thanks again everyone. appreciate it.

Nicely done, Rog; the more familiar you become with LR, the more you'll love it.

I agree with Al, the more I learn about the ins and outs of Lightroom the better my photography becomes, because I can shoot the light in such a way as to help rid the shot of as much noise as possible. Like Cheryl I made the jump to a iMac and Lightroom at the same time so I can relate to the learning curve. But it's so worth it.
